Press Release

Kozhikode, India - May 7, 2026 - PureHire today announced a product update that standardizes AI candidate scoring across the platform to a clear 0-10 scale. The update is designed to remove ambiguity in candidate evaluation and make recruiter decisions faster, more consistent, and easier to communicate across hiring teams.

Recruiters using PureHire will now see scores in a format like 7.2/10, replacing percentage-style interpretation and improving alignment between screening, interview, and final-selection stages.

"Hiring teams need signal clarity, not score confusion," said the PureHire team. "A normalized 10-point score improves readability and speeds up shortlist decisions without changing the underlying AI quality."

The rollout is now live across recruiter workflows and homepage product messaging.

Why This Matters for Recruiters

In high-volume hiring, small UX ambiguities create large downstream delays. A simple question like "Is this 72 or 7.2?" can slow decisions, create inconsistent cutoffs, and trigger avoidable back-and-forth between recruiters and hiring managers.

By standardizing score display to x.x/10, teams get:

  • Faster first-pass triage
  • Cleaner cutoff discussions (for example, "above 8.0/10")
  • Better consistency between recruiters reviewing the same pipeline
  • More transparent candidate comparisons in status reviews

This update is part of PureHire's broader roadmap to reduce hiring friction: clearer job setup, quicker application processing, and high-signal candidate ranking that recruiters can trust.

If you're already using PureHire, no migration is required. The new score format is live by default.
